Having done her M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from Ranchi Institute of Neuro-Psychiatry & Allied Sciences and as a member of the Rehabilitation Council of India, she has achieved a lot in the field of mental healthcare. Speaking in both English and Hindi, she has been able to reach a large group of people. She is interested in areas of Research, Social Media, and Strategising. She is based in Bangalore.
Having been in the field for over 6 years, she really knows how to go about things. Holding the post of consultant clinical psychologist with us at Cadabam’s, her work speaks for itself. Her belief is in believing the patient and customizing the treatment approach to their needs, with a very holistic outlook. Some illnesses she treats include Anxiety disorders, Depression, Schizophrenia, Dementia and memory disorders, Alcohol addiction, Drug addiction, Bipolar disorder, OCD, Personality disorder, Learning disabilities, Family and couple counseling, and Child and adolescent care. She is trained extensively in psychological assessments and psychotherapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy to name just a few.
Her interests lie in child, adolescent development issues. She is also interested in emotional, relationship issues, and behavioral medicine. Apart from the above-mentioned expertise, her work as a clinical psychologist also extends to helping individuals who are Physically/Sexually & emotionally abused. She is also specialized and trained by AIIMS and MagVenture to deliver RTMS (Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) to patients with anxiety, depression & OCD, which is approved by the FDA, USA. She has also published work relating to Depression, Anxiety, Stress, and Suicidal Ideation in Victims of Sexual Abuse in Children & Adolescents. Her participation is also seen in conferences such as the Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists and the National Academy of Psychology.
